Every web problem eventually becomes a systems problem.

For more than 20 years I’ve helped businesses turn technology into something that works: first websites and applications, then running a business of my own, then digital strategy in some of the most competitive markets online. Today I advise, design and implement tech strategy across web, data and AI, and I still run my own servers, mail and automation because I want to understand every layer I’m responsible for.

How I got here

  1. Web design

    I started with the part of digital work people can see: building websites.

  2. Programming & applications

    The work pulled me into programming and application development, building software that solved real problems for the people using it.

  3. My own e-commerce business

    I ran my own e-commerce company, selling products nationwide from a website I built myself. That is where I learned to think like an operator, not just a builder.

  4. Memorial services

    I worked with partners across the United States in the memorial services industry: a fast-paced, demanding field where speed and precision matter.

  5. Mesothelioma search & lead generation

    I moved into lead generation and digital strategy in mesothelioma search, one of the most competitive and expensive spaces on Google.

  6. AI systems & digital platforms Today

    Today I lead digital platforms and AI operations, designing and running AI systems in production for a Houston firm. I also founded Hex AI Systems and publish NexChron, and I still run my own servers, mail and automation.

How I think about the work

  1. Inspect the system before trusting the symptom.

  2. Build the check that proves it arrived.

  3. Watch for silence, not just errors.

  4. Make it undoable before you make it automatic.

  5. Every correction becomes a permanent rule.

  6. The website isn’t the product. The whole system is.
